Inmoo Lee studies the implications of academic findings on Dimensional investment strategies. Prior to joining the firm, Inmoo spent twelve years teaching and performing financial research at Case Western Reserve University, Korea University, and National University of Singapore. He has published papers in the Journal of Finance, Review of Financial Studies, and the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis. As a consultant, he has participated in the development of indexes for KOSDAQ and the Korea Stock Exchange and served on committees overseeing Korean government pension funds.

Inmoo holds Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in finance from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and a B.B.A. degree from Korea University.
